Position Overview
The role of People and Culture Administrator, as part of the People & Culture Team, coordinates all recruitment and training activities of workers engaged to support the operational needs of Mecha. Our people are the core of our business and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for our new employees is critical to assist employees’ have a positive transition into the business. Co-ordination of training bookings and management of training records is key to guarantee training and inductions are maintained to meet compliance.
You will have a good understanding of business processes, and excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented with strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities. Be well organised and analytical. An ability to work in a team environment, be self-managed and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Objectives of the role
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to support the needs of the business
- Co-ordinate all training and induction requirements, including medicals
- Promote a positive workplace culture that align with our company values.
Key to your success
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience in using databases and online systems.
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume blue-collar recruitment and onboarding.
- Highest commitment to health, safety, quality and environment, and confident in having relevant discussions with all stakeholders.
- The proven ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, and integrity including the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
- Demonstrable attention to detail, with the ability to take responsibility for own actions and accurate completion of work.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with ability to consult and provide advice to all levels of the organisation and clients.
