Main Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering responsibilities:
- Act as the P&C representative for relevant business units by actively partnering with business leaders.
- Provide business partnering expertise for allocated business units and drive people practices.
- Support in and implement organizational engagement strategy and organizations.
- Provide advice and consultation on performance, talent management and employee relations and other P&C topics to line management and employees.
- Support with organizational restructures or other significant changes.
- Engagement & Culture
- Support global and regional Engagement Activities to ensure successful participation across all Pacific business units, including working closely with managers around action planning to improve engagement within their teams
- Act as the P&C representative for employee Committees such the Staff Committee and Women's Network to drive and support social initiatives
- Drive innovative wellness programs across the Pacific region.
- Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in order to promote CSR activity across AU NZ.
- Drive D&I initiatives across the Pacific region.
- Organize and support ad hoc engagement events & celebrations, such as monthly mingle activities, Christmas party and work closely with B&F (building & facilities team) to ensure things run smoothly.
- Internal Communications
- Act as the primary P&C internal communication specialist using a variety of platforms I.E Poppulo, Canva and PowerPoint.
- Owning the creation and continual maintenance of the P&C SharePoint.
- Talent Acquisition Support
- Supporting recruiting activities for Amadeus within the Pacific region.
- Support in the full recruitment cycle and work closely with the talent acquisition team for relevant business groups.
- Completing relevant visa checks, and conducting interviews where required for business units.
- P&C Administration & other activities
- Support the maintenance of P&C SharePoint site and email inbox
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment in managing sensitive situations and information.
- Management of local WH&S initiatives including remote working assessments and any required follow up actions.
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business
- Be the local point of contact in Pacific region for any training request and work with the Bangalore training team on these specific needs.
- Support the Head of P&C, Senior P&C advisor and the talent team with the annual promotion process I.E. Keeping the promotion list up to date, and being an assessor during the process.
- Preparation of employee letters and other documents where required.
- Supporting the performance review process.
- Support with policy management and implementation
- 3+ years experience within People and Culture in a multinational, matrix organization.
- Experience within one or more areas: Talent Acquisition, Employment and Labour regulation & talent management.
- Previous experience with reporting & HRIS tools viz., Workday, Lever etc
- Proven ability to build rapport with employees and managers at all levels
- Experience in organizing workplace initiatives and events will be an asset
