About the Opportunity

The People & Culture Business Partner is essential in supporting the People & Culture team to plan, enact and mobilise workforce initiatives to drive the growth required to support the sustainment activities of the nuclear-powered submarine program. 

The role is critical to ensuring that ASC can support the mobilisation of personnel to the US in support of the nuclear-powered submarine program. This role involves developing and implementing workforce mobilisation plans and providing people and culture advisory support on workforce matters. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of workforce mobilisation, and international deployment plans for the nuclear-powered submarine sustainment program.
  • Contribute to the development of the Workforce Plan.
  • Provide people and Culture Business Partnering and advisory support to the program team
  • Develop responses to requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the P&C team and the program team to ensure successful rollout of workforce mobilisation plans.

About you 

You are an experienced HR professional with significant experience working in complex P&C roles, skilled in workforce mobilisation and planning. Your background in Defence, manufacturing, mining, or construction enhances your strategic and operational capabilities. You excel under pressure, effectively managing projects, influencing stakeholders, and collaborating across teams. Detail-oriented and client-focused, you combine strategic vision with practical execution, making you a key asset for this role.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
