Form of workJoin the largest government authority in Northern Australia! Our client has a great opportunity for a People and Culture Officer on a short-term assignment until mid-June 2025 with possibility of an extension.
About the role:
- Lead, develop and support a small team to meet service expectations of the organisation
- Lead the development and implementation of People and Culture systems and projects
- Manage systems to ensure effective development and application of business needs.
- Coordinate end to end recruitment process, including eRecruit system, onboarding Data analysis and reporting
- Ensure continuous improvement of processes and service delivery
About you:
- You will have qualifications in Human Resources or related field
- You will have Extensive experience working in a similar role in a diverse multi-disciplined organisation
- You will have strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- You will have Working knowledge of applicable legislation and the interpretation of industrial instruments
- You will have Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team within a supportive and collaborative work culture.
- ASAP start (pending checks)
- Temporary assignment until mid-June 2025 with possibility of extension
- Hours 8.00am - 4.30pm
- Townsville, QLD location
- $73.46 per hour plus super
