With our existing portfolio and strategic expansion plans underway, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated People and Culture Manager to shape the future of our people and the business culture to ensure we remain an industry-leading organisation.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role provides the opportunity to guide and amplify our People function. You will be integral to our recruitment, performance management, training, compliance, and initiatives to enhance our workplace culture.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Advisory & Compliance: Support the CEO in setting the people and culture strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with legal and industrial relations requirements
• Strategic Leadership: Working collaboratively across the group, including leading strategic workforce planning and driving the future workforce-focussed leadership and capability agenda
• Talent & People Management: Recruit the best talent, coach, guide, foster a culture of continuous growth and learning, performance management, remuneration analysis
• Culture & Communications: Be a positive ambassador for our organisation in all internal and external interactions, encourage a collaborative team approach, share positive feedback throughout the business
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in all aspects of recruitment within a for-profit private sector healthcare organisation
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Industrial Relations relevant to the Australian HR / IR landscape
• Extensive experience in Australian employee and industrial relations with a robust knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, Enterprise Agreements and Awards
• High level strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills
• An innate ability to drive and support a positive culture
• A high level of energy, resilience, and personal drive
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with managers, employees and others when required
• General knowledge of payroll and regulated legislation
• Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office applications
The successful candidate will be required to have a Working with Children’s check and Police Check and provide a COVID vaccination and immunisation history.
