About You: We are looking for a People & Culture Partner who has a solid grasp of the retail/fashion industry and is currently studying Human Resources or has completed tertiary study in Human Resources. Ideally you have worked in a B Corp certified business, and you have an interest in social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. You will support the growth of the brand in a sustainable way to ensure the KIVARI customer is at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the Human Resources department
- Support management with employment relations matters
- Collaborate with department managers and drive the induction program and ensure each employee has a smooth induction into the business
- Onboard new employees following the internal process
- Maintain the internal HR filing system
- Coordinate and support the appraisal and probationary review process
- Coordinate 30/60/90 self-performance meetings with management and employees
- Coordinate value awards and office birthday celebrations
- Facilitate employee feedback and engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity
- Ensure that office duties and rosters are effectively organised and managed
- Policy writing and communication
- Recruitment
- Ad hoc duties as requested by the team
Qualifications:
- Currently studying or studied Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HR practices, polices and employment legislation
- Excellent accuracy when creating formal documents
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Strong team player
