About the Role
Managing a small team, your role will be a combination of leadership, developing strategy whilst also having no problem stepping in to assist with day-to-day tasks if required. The role is varied and will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure compliance to procedure and policy.
- Culture and Wellbeing data collection and review for improvements
- Performance Management of your Team as well as site managers
- Participate in strategic initiatives to build resilience and foster an employer of choice culture.
- Review and create ACS Policies, Inductions, Management Plans, Work Instructions relating to People and Culture
- Employee Relations nationally, support Operations Managers and Teams ensuring effective and fair outcomes in line with best practice.
About you.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a 24/7 project-based organisation (mining, oil & gas, construction and infrastructure projects) and may be currently leading the HR function or now be looking to step-up to lead the HR function.

- Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and practical application of the Fair Work Act
- Innovative ideas to attract candidates though multiple communication channels, experience managing the selection process, then providing an extraordinary onboarding process
- Demonstrated ability of implementing training and performance programs to develop the skills of a diverse workforce.
- Able to occasionally travel to remote camps around Australia as required and for exposure to the business.
- Ability to juggle multiple varied requirements (actual juggling would be great to see too!)
