The Goulburn Broken CMA is seeking applications to fill the position of People, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead the contemporary delivery of human resource, Safety and Wellbeing strategies for our successful Natural Resource Management organisation.
This is an opportunity to lead the functional and strategic elements of human resources, safety, wellbeing, training, fleet and payroll to deliver on existing strategy and initiatives as well as contribute to new opportunities.
Principal areas of responsibilities will include:
- Coordination and delivery of a contemporary workforce strategy with a holistic view on the employee life cycle
- Develop and deliver HR, Safety and Wellbeing process and policies to achieve legislative compliance and industry best practise
- Implement and manage appropriate systems in HR, OHS and payroll
- Monitor, analyse and interpret metrics to guide and inform HR, Safety and Wellbeing decisions
You will have demonstrated experience in people management, developing and leading strategy, delivering processes to align with legislation and government policy at a management level and providing advice and guidance to navigate a broad range of people and safety topics in a similar position.

- Demonstrated experience, skills and techniques in managing complex negotiations, including persuasive discussions with open and honest approach and respectful communication and will have difficult conversations and resolve matters.
- Effective listener, able to hear customers or community needs, sometimes complex in nature and navigate steps to desired outcomes
Project Management
- Understands all aspects of project management and is able to provide guidance and advice to team and stakeholders.
- Has successfully led the implementation of a range of projects of significant scale, including obtaining funding, coordinate complex priorities and collaborating with stakeholders.
Regulation, Legislation and Government
- Demonstrated knowledge of government programs and projects, strategic documents and Acts relating to the position.
- Able to research, explain and define a range of legislation, regulation and policy positions.
Leadership
- Experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
- Ability to adapt to change, remain positive in approach and role model behaviours.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor level degree or greater qualification in Human Resource Management or other relevant discipline.
- Knowledge and experience of more than 8 years in HRM, OHS, management and leading implementation of program and strategy
