About the Role
As the Performance Analyst, this role will see you delivering project and program performance reporting, insights and analytics across our nominated portfolio of capital expenditure comprising $500M+ p.a.
The role will partner with and drive the performance of capital projects (covering regulated and unregulated works across Electricity Distribution and Transmission) by providing timely insights and highlighting key risks to the Network Operations & Safety (NO&S) leadership team around cost, schedule, delivery partner KPIs and safety targets.
This role will report to the Manager, Strategic Portfolio Management & Performance with a location base at either Malvern or Southbank, Victoria. We are a flexible and truly hybrid workplace.
What you will deliver
- Lead monthly performance forums with senior stakeholders to review monthly performance, future forecasts and discuss key risks
- Work with Finance and the Regulation teams to provide information that supports the preparation of AusNet's annual 5-year plan and regulatory price reset submissions
- Develop and maintain automated performance monitoring tools and dashboards and manage the validity of all performance data
- Support the implementation of new reporting processes based on program/portfolio requirements
- Actively collaborate to share insights, lessons learned and wins widely with others
- Build the foundations required to move at pace by looking beyond what we do today and testing new ways of doing things
- Be adaptive to changes and innovations in the digital landscape that can help us grow our network and support the energy transition
What we like about you
- Significant and demonstrated experience working within complex projects and portfolio management and understanding of methodologies
- Proven reporting experience in a business or complex projects environment including strong ERP system experience e.g. SAP
- Excellent communication skills to proactively engage with key senior stakeholders and lead meetings, with limited assistance
- Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and experience with programming languages and automation tools
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business or data analytics
