Job Vacancy
Wilmar Sugars' Koumala Farms in the Mackay Region are seeking a suitably qualified Farm Supervisor to join our team. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, is keen to learn about Wilmar's sugarcane farming operations, and is open to professional development opportunities.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping accurate records, checklists and risk assessments, such as timesheets, pre-start checklists, safety risk assessments, farm records, etc.
- Managing onsite contractors and resources for the farm
- Supervising other Wilmar farm employees
- Ensuring employees and contractors comply with all company/site policies, standard procedures and work instructions
- Using best farming practices to maximise production levels
Experience Required
- Recent practical agricultural experience in a similar role within the sugar industry
- "C" Class driver's licence
- Demonstrated understanding and practical application/knowledge of farming operations technology
- Proven work history in a leadership position
