An Opportunity is available to join my team who currently help to facilitate my daily life. My Support Workers assist me on a 3 to 1 basis throughout the day.Due to some of the challenges I face, I experience emotional regulation difficulties. In this instance I would like you to be able to read my behaviour, understand my triggers and know when to withdraw.I am seeking a Support Worker who is wanting to join a team environment and passionate about provide support using the person-centred active support framework.Key responsibilities:
- Prompting me with assisted daily living tasks
- Role modelling
- Personal care
- In home activities
- Support me to achieve my goals to reach my potential in all facets of my life.
- Support my life skill development through proper implementation of established plans and programs to support the achievement of goal outcomes for me.
- Actively engage in person centred active support.
- Maintain accurate records.
I am looking for someone to support me on a Part Time basis, my shifts are :FN 1 Week1 Wed: 1500 - 2300 Passive 2300 - 0700, Friday: 1500-2200, Saturday: 1500-2200 Sunday 1500 - 2300 Passive 2300 - 0700Week2 Wed: 1500-2200 Friday: 1500-2200, Saturday: 1500-2200 Monday: 1500-2200FN 2 Week 3 Thur: 1500-2200, Friday:1500-2200 Sunday: 1500 - 2300 Passive 2300 - 0700Week 4 Wed: 1500 - 2300 Passive 2300 - 0700, Thur: 1500-2200 Friday: 1500-2200 Saturday: 1500-2200 Monday: 1500-2200 Tuesday: 1500-2200The ideal candidate will have:
- Experienced with high behaviours
- Safety Intervention Training (MAPA Holds)
- NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification
I am looking for a resilient and compassionate person to join my team. A good match for me would be someone who has an efficient and confident approach in what they do and possesses a calm and patient nature. Ideally someone that is understanding for the supports I need.Other requirements:
- Ability to implement individualised developmental programs.
- Experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
- Flexible working hours
- Experience in various models of support preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service delivery.
