ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- General administrative duties to support the Corporate Finance Administrator with the preparation and settlement of Equity Capital Market transactions.
- Ensuring clients are compliant to participate in capital raisings under the Corporations Act, 2001.
- Preparation of offer letters and setting up corporate transactions.
- Following processes to settle corporate transactions.
- Liaising with Corporate Directors and Advisers.
- Invoicing and maintaining registers.
- Preparation of client documents.
- Filing & miscellaneous projects.
- The ideal candidate will be professionally presented with a self-motivating, can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines, ensuring the quality of work and attention to detail are upheld with a high level of resilience.
- Excellent time-management, communication (written & verbal), prioritisation and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and natural curiosity to ask the right questions.
- Proven experience in an administration or corporate role is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediary to advanced).
- Excellent Microsoft Word & Excel skills.
- Strong math aptitude and numerical skills.
- Bookkeeping or previous experience with MYOB are highly regarded.
- A good work ethic and attitude, including the ability to work outside of normal office hours when required.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Database manipulation (mail merge).
- Data extraction from mainframe systems.
- Some understanding of financial markets and securities terminology.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and methodologies quickly.
- 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday within a modern corporate office environment.
