About the Opportunity
This Personal Assistant opportunity will be supporting one or two surgeons . This role offers autonomy and responsibility for managing all aspects of surgeons’ private practice functions. You will be working alongside a larger Admin/PA team dedicated to providing exceptional service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appointment scheduling using Genie software
- Coordinate theatre lists and patient surgeries
- Order imaging and other necessary tests
- Provide pre and post-operative information to patients
- Handle consult and surgical billing
- Ensure smooth running of consulting sessions
- Liaise with health funds and Medicare
You are an experienced surgical PA/Medical Secretary or have similar experience, with a keen understanding of the significant impact surgical treatment has on a patient's lives. You are committed to excellence, accuracy and professionalism and excel in providing top-notch communication to both patients and surgeons. You appreciate the responsibility of a senior role and enjoy working in a supportive, close-knit team environment.
The Offer

Located mainly in the Richmond clinic, close to transportation but parking is also available however there will be some requirement to also be traveling to the North Melbourne clinic which has newly opened.
