We are a Facial Plastic and Ear Nose & Throat Surgery practice based in Adelaide.
We are seeking a committed and reliable individual who is looking to work in the role long term, and embraces our enthusiasm for providing our patients with a high standard of care.
Hours
The applicant is required on a full-time basis.
We require
- Experience in a medical or dental practice
- Experience with Genie medical software
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
General skills and abilities
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Work in a team (doctors, nurses, hospitals, admin)
- Manage and prioritise workflow
- Show attention to detail
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients to the practice
- Booking appointments
- Liaising with other healthcare providers (eg. GP’s, medical imaging, pathology)
- Typing correspondence and medical reports
- Manage a high-volume reception/switchboard
- Book surgery
- Setup theatre lists including necessary documentation
- Order surgical supplies
- Billing
- Take payments for consultations and procedures
- Attend alternative metropolitan clinic locations with the surgeon
- Housekeeping duties (eg. re-stocking consulting rooms, general cleaning)
Personal
- Your personal presentation must always be of a high standard
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements
- Undertake training and professional development as and when required
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle
- Valid Police Check and DHS Working With Children check
