About the role:
As a Personal Care Worker, you will be an essential part of our integrated team of people united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day.

A day in the life as a PCW with Calvary, may see you;
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate team spirit
- Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
- Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.
- Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the residents plan of care.
- Assist the residents with their Personal Care and hygiene needs whilst encouraging their independence.
About you
As a collaborative compassionate member of the team, you’ll have:
- Certificate III in individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and provide holistic care
- Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience with the aged person and their needs
- Demonstrated respect for residents’ privacy, dignity and self esteem
- Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
