About the Role
As a Star Pharmacy Group Pharmacist, you'll do more than just dispense medications; you'll be a vital healthcare resource for our community. Our focus on patient-centered care means you'll have the opportunity to offer a wide range of additional professional services at our Star Discount Chemist Narangba store. This is a Part Time position that allows you to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of those you serve.
Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass:
- Comprehensive Medication Management: Not only will you ensure precise dispensing and strict compliance with Pharmacy Board and HIC regulations, but you'll also actively manage medication therapy for patients, optimizing their health outcomes.
- Expert Consultations: Beyond filling prescriptions, you'll provide expert advice and counseling to patients and collaborate with medical professionals to enhance patient care.
- Specialized Services: You'll be responsible for maintaining scripts and managing medication management packs while also expanding your scope of practice with specialized services such as vaccinations, health screenings, and medication reviews.
- Community Engagement: Engage with our community by hosting wellness events, workshops, and support groups, further solidifying our pharmacy as a trusted healthcare destination.
- Proactive Leadership: Lead by example, providing proactive and inclusive leadership to store employees while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Supervision: Front of shop and dispensary supervision, to ensure staff is organized, rostered, delegated to, incentivised and supervised to maximise service.
About You
Our Star Pharmacy Group Pharmacists are healthcare advocates who possess:
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Check or willing to obtain one
- Current Working with Children Clearance
- Must be available to work one Saturday a month
