About the role
HPS Pharmacies is looking for a Pharmacy Manager that is passionate about creating lasting and meaningful relationships with their staff and Clients.
This role is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, with some on-call hours needed.
The ideal candidate has previous hospital experience as well as management experience in some capacity.
The Pharmacy Manager will lead the team at our HPS Pharmacies Randwick site, based in Prince of Wales Private Hospital, to provide contemporary, consistent, and cost-effective hospital Pharmacy services across all areas of Pharmacy including Clinical, Oncology, Retail and Dispensary. Our Manager will also provide client support to some off-site clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, motivate and mentor a team of Pharmacists and Technicians to deliver consistent high-quality services
- Grow the business and improve the financial performance of the site through achievement of budgets and other targets
- Maintain and develop client relationships
- Correctly maintain and dispose of Cytotoxic material
About You
- Previous Hospital Pharmacy Experience is desirable
- The ability to lead a team is essential
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Analytical thinking, judgement, and the ability to develop appropriate solutions
- Current AHPRA registration
- Membership with an indemnity insurance provider
- Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
