Physiotherapist

Mi Fizzio is seeking a full-time/part-time physiotherapist, with strong communication skills and sound clinical reasoning. New graduates are welcome to apply. 

Our busy, well-established clinic (over 20 years) is in the Sutherland Shire within walking distance (100m) to Kirrawee train station.

The practice facilities are contemporary, with a modern well equipped rehabilitation gym. Manual therapy or hands on treatment techniques are a major feature of our services, with a strong emphasis on quality patient care, with 1:1 treatment. The position has an excellent and diverse caseload with a great mix of sports, musculoskeletal, spinal and pre and post-operative patients. 

You will be joining a dedicated team providing internal training, mentorship, and support from an enthusiastic, committed senior practitioner and other senior physiotherapists. The Principal Physiotherapist is a Titled APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. She is also a Member of Australia College of Physiotherapists.

The successful candidate will need to possess the following; 

• Registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
• Experience in private practice would be beneficial but is not essential
• Those with a positive attitude and enthusiasm are welcome to apply
• The ability to conduct comprehensive evidence-based patient assessments from initial consultation through to discharge
• Confidence to work autonomously
• Excellent teamwork, time management and strong communication skills essential
• The capability to liaise with local GP’s, surgeons and Insurance/WorkCover representatives

Hours are negotiable, but we are ideally seeking a candidate who is available to work 25-38hrs per week on a Monday to Thursday with 1 Saturday per month.
