Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

There are up to three permanent positions available:
- every 3rd Saturday on inpatient respiratory: 8 hour day shift
- every 4th weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) Hospital in the Home service: 8 hour days.
An eligibility list will also be created from this recruitment for future permanent or temporary vacancies in the after hours service at the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
What you'll be doing
The Level 1/2 Physiotherapist will contribute to:
• Planning, development and evaluation of the service.
• Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, practices and patient care both within the hospital and wider afield.
• Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and current Australian Physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate paediatric physiotherapy experience relevant to the tertiary, acute care setting.
- Clinical experience in cardiothoracic and orthopaedic physiotherapy, preferably with experience with casting and splinting.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, (including negotiation and conflict resolution skills).
- Proven success in multidisciplinary team settings and the ability to work independently when required
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within clinical and administrative service demands.
- Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and active involvement in quality improvement and/or research activities.
