Forward Health is a Physiotherapy clinic established in 2021 by Physiotherapy couple Joe Vos and Stephanie Pyle with two clinic locations:
📍 Currimundi, QLD - on the stunning Sunshine Coast
📍 Sandstone Point - near beautiful Bribie Island
We are currently looking for another Physiotherapist at our Sandstone Point location to join the team as we continue to grow.
At Forward Health, we prioritise work/life balance and have created a friendly and supportive workspace with all of our team members. If you are looking for variety in your case load, we have many demographics that come through the doors from musculoskeletal injuries, orthopaedics, women's health, chronic pain, young athletes, headaches/migraines, vertigo, and more!
About the Clinic:
- We currently have a team of 5 Physiotherapists, 1 Massage Therapist, and 3 Receptionists who are all great to work with
- Private treatment rooms
- Separate studio for running Clinical Pilates classes - previous experience teaching Pilates would be beneficial but not essential
- Gym space for rehabilitation / Pilates / Yoga classes – x2 reformers, x2 wunda chairs, x1 spring board for patient rehab or Studio Pilates classes
- Relationship with Plus Fitness Ningi - availability to treat patients out of this facility as well with access to all of their equipment
There is plenty of opportunity with this position for:
Regularly scheduled professional development with our experienced clinicians
- Joe has a great deal of experience working with musculoskeletal injuries, orthopaedics, running assessment, headaches & migraines, and vestibular rehabilitation
- Stephanie specialises in women's health physiotherapy and vestibular rehabilitation
- We have a structured new graduate program to ensure you are supported throughout the start of your working career
Work/life balance
- We value time with our family and friends, and really enjoy travelling too!
Competitive wage
- Our new graduate package starts at above $80 000/year including superannuation and professional development allowance
- For more experienced clinicians, higher wages and commission opportunities are available
Welcoming, friendly, and engaging work environment
- Our reception staff are extremely well trained and supportive, ensuring that you are able to do your job without having to worry about the paperwork, booking, invoicing, and other admin involved
- Your job is where you spend the majority of your day - and so as employers we want you to enjoy coming to work as much as possible. If you have a particular patient demographic that you like to see, we are happy to market to have these patients coming to you. We also want you to feel rewarded for the work that you do - whether that means getting time off when requested, having a fair wage, or getting support to further your career through professional development.
Location, location, location!
- Both Sandstone Point and Currimundi are in beautiful areas of the world - what better way to finish off the work day than heading to the beach?
1:1 Sessions
- We never double book patients, so you don't have to worry about multi-tasking and can focus your complete attention to the other person in the room
Opportunity for Growth
- Your role as a Physiotherapist has the potential to grow into other areas of the business such as marketing, social media, organising events, or mentoring/training other Physiotherapists if you are interested.
What makes you the right fit for the role?
- Empathy - Whether you are a new graduate or experienced clinician, we want to attract Physiotherapists who truly care about their patients. Just as an employee can feel like ‘just another number’, this can happen all too often in the healthcare system as well. Ensuring your patient has left the clinic with their questions answered and feeling more confident in their rehabilitation is our number one goal.
- Integrity - Basically, doing the right thing - even when no one else is watching. It goes a long way from our end knowing that we can trust our coworkers and provide opportunity to work independently.
- Drive & Passion - Demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong desire to help people is something that we expect in our clinics.
- Cooperation - We want to have you work with us, not for us. In a good working environment, everyone is there to support one another - whether it is admin, clinicians, or any other staff we treat each other with respect and kindness.
- Role Model - “Practice what you preach” - we are looking for therapists that lead an active and healthy lifestyle to set a good example for patients and guide them on their health journey.
- Previous Experience - Experience with mat / reformer Pilates or yoga as well as additional training in vestibular rehabilitation, women's health, dry needling / acupuncture would be highly beneficial but not essential.
