About the role
Do you like variety in your work but still want to develop your clinical skills and be supported by a dynamic team as well as a local team?
This is a Grade 2 Physiotherapy Rehab and GEM position as part of our new Workforce Support Program (WoSP). This team will support caseload behind annual leave within clinical stream areas. This is an opportunity to further develop your clinical skills in your chosen area of rehabilitation and geriatric management across a variety of settings at Eastern Health. Gain exposure to various teams and clinicians and be supported by clinical grade 3s and 4s to grow your clinical skills. Concurrently you will be supported by the WoSP team and operational leadership to develop these dynamic roles. You will have opportunity to undertake student supervision and quality improvement activities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated skills in physiotherapy management of rehabilitation and geriatric evaluation and management (subacute) patients
- Ability to meet all the requirements as outlined in the position description roles and responsibilities
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
