Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Personal Injury cases, including Motor Vehicle, Public Liability, Worker’s Compensation, Superannuation, Professional Negligence, Medical Negligence
• Work collectively with senior and junior lawyers and support staff. 
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Stay informed about relevant legislation, case law, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Established skills and Minimum Practical Post admission experience of Two (2) years and experience in Personal Injury law
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and delivering high-quality legal services.
• IRO approved lawyer
• Strong legal research skills 
• Ability to meet and manage deadlines and client expectations.
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Be able to meet budget and financial targets.
• Sound computer skills and experience with Legal Practice software (LEAP)
