Specifically, we have provided industrial solutions since 1995 and operate across four regions in the Hunter Valley, Central West and Mackay (QLD). The role of Planning Co-Ordinator is located in our head office (Carrington) branch, however you will work across all branches (supported by Estimators who are a part of the Commercial Management Team).

We want your input, your ideas and your willingness to learn. With an ever increasing pipeline of works, you will liaise with clients to deliver tailored solutions in consultation with our business units, most specifically the operations team. Critical to this is being solutions focused - motivating our teams to move forward with a consultative approach to planning.
With the support of the Operations Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assists the Operations Team in developing schedules for projects
- Maintain the integrity of integrated project schedules
- Develop and update progress on projects, regularly consulting with the Operations Team, assisting to assign labour
- Understanding maintenance schedules of on site labour and being able to identify key skills required to achieve project deadlines, through consultation with Operations Team
- Identify activities that are critical to the project and effectively communicates these to the appropriate members of the Operations Team
- Monitors critical activities on a regular basis and provides pro-active update and analysis including possible mitigation efforts that must be undertaken to minimise impacts
- Maintain relationships with contracting and other project planning stakeholders
- Embrace relationships within the business including the direct report to Operations Manager and the Commercial Management Team
Your qualifications and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualifications are ideal but we will also consider your demonstrated track record / estimating experience in the manufacturing (ideal) or other industry (at least 12 months)
- Excellent analytical l skills, ability to interpret drawings
- Demonstrated exposure to project work
- Proven experience in the usage of MS Project, MS Office Suite and other platforms
- Must be willing to travel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills all levels
- Comfortable working in an open and collaborative team environment
