Swan Hill Rural City Council are looking for a Planning Officer to join our positive and supportive Development team. This role could provide you with career development opportunities working on a variety of developments and projects in our growing and thriving municipality.

Your new role is based on the mighty Murray River, where the sun shines on more days than Queensland. The living is easy - there’s no shortage of dining, entertainment, sporting and recreation choices and Council has programs and supports to help you become part of our community in no time.

You will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to Council and the public on planning matters, enquiries, and process development applications. You will work closely with Building, Engineering and Public Health staff in a collaborative, supportive and happy work environment.

Must have good communication skills, highly proficient in computer skills, a team player and committed to delivering great customer service to our communities. A valid Police Check (dated within last six months) is required prior to employment.

Approximately $69,716 per annum, this is a permanent full time role. Super is paid at 14%.
