AddressWe are currently looking for an Export Administration Officer with a minimum 2 year’s export administration experience to join our team. MYOB experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

Due to continued growth and expansion, an opportunity has arisen within our business for a suitable experienced individual to join our friendly vibrant team, working in a fast-paced metal recycling industry.
Basic Purpose:
Assist to facilitate the efficient operation of the department, this including the co-ordinating and processing of export transactions and documentation in an efficient, accurate and timely basis.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure all shipping/export sales transactions are coordinated and processed accurately and on a timely basis, this includes and not limited to the receipting of export orders, preparing contracts, vessel container bookings, the coordination of container movements, liaison with freight forwarders and Agents and any other export function and administrative requirements, as required.
- The preparation of negotiable documents and processing to customer or bank as required.
- Facilitating container movements, including bookings, weights (Verified Gross Mass - VGM), freight forwarders and transport companies to ensure contract compliance.
- The processing of documentation and the follow up for payments.
- Liaison with freight forwarders, customers and VMT team members to ensure transparency in communication, accuracy in export documentation, material handling and availability, container movements and all other export related functionalities
- Professionalism in delivery and accountability to the function performed.
- Filling and maintaining of all export documentation.
