The Planning Support Specialists will be supporting the Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Sourcing teams for Medline Australia. This contract role will hit the ground running in supporting across the key areas of:
Purchase Order Management - Run and review daily purchase order reports. Your keen eye will help us make informed decisions—whether to expedite, delay, or cancel orders—ensuring that our stock is precisely where it needs to be when it’s needed.
Backorder Reviews - Collaborate closely with our supply planners and together, you’ll run daily backorder reports, identifying any potential risks. Your insights will drive proactive measures to keep our operations running smoothly
Manual Stock Release - Work with our customer service team to manually release stock when necessary, maintaining a delicate balance between demand and supply.
Monthly Forecast Reports - Run automated reporting tools to generate monthly forecasts for our local vendors.
Product Substitutions - Collaborate and manage the process of a product substitution when required
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis - Provide ad-hoc reports and insightful analysis as requested by the team, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Product Termination Process - Action product termination requests
This role will be based in our Marsden Park office 3 days a week and 2 days from your home office, once your initial training period has been completed.

- Strong advanced Excel skills
- Power BI skills will be highly regarded, however not essential
- A commitment to the task, exhibiting high levels of motivation and a sense of urgency
- Display initiative and be self-driven in your support
