Job Description:Downer is currently seeking a Water Truck Operator for project works across Barrow Island. We are looking for personnel with strong backgrounds in Maintenance / Non-Processing Infrastructure.The primary role of the Water Operator is to perform operational activities for both the RO and Waste Treatment Plant within the scope of this contract, in accordance with the standards prescribed and agreed in the partnership between Chevron and Downer
Responsibilities:- Roster: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
- FIFO from Perth
- Proven experience on water sampling/testing techniques, inspection procedures, water & sanitation management
- Experience in operating remote facilities (preferable)
- Knowledge of engineering infrastructure and maintenance.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining an RO Plant.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining Waste Treatment Plant.
- Knowledge of Operating a range of Plant and Equipment.
- Ability to work night shift
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications:- Cert III Water Operations
- Class C Driver's License
- Forklift
- Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
- WAH (Desirable)
- Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or a willingness to obtain.
- White Card
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in the construction/maintenance industry
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Previous FIFO experience
