The Plant Metallurgist at Iron Bridge will play a pivotal role in optimising and enhancing the ore processing facility's operational efficiency. This dynamic position involves providing operational guidance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting processes, and implementing innovative solutions. • Identify, develop and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Review operational performance to provide technical guidance to the Operations team
• Develop, manage and execute plant trials and test work programs and conduct data analysis
• Review flowsheets, mass balances, process design criteria and other deliverables.
• Manage and review metallurgical accounting and consumables.
• Support commissioning and ramp-up schedule.
• Actively contribute to daily pre-start safety and weekly toolbox meetings
• Assist in accident/incident investigations and corrective actions

• Tertiary Qualification - Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced computer literacy including process data historian, SAP, Tableau
• Knowledge of dry and wet mineral processing operations
• Knowledge of metallurgical testing methods and lab operations
• Proficient in metallurgical accounting including mass and water balancing
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
