Transport Supervisor - PM shift

Our business is a growing transport and logistics business based on the NSW South Coast. We are seeking an experienced hands-on depot supervisor to help manage depot operations at night.

Reporting to the GM of Operations this role is key to the performance of the business and will provide the successful candidate with a potential pathway to promotion and participation in the company bonus program.

Responsibilities can be tailored to the individual competencies and experience, however, the scope might include some or all of the following:

• unloading / reloading linehaul and rigids
• managing truck and asset maintenance;
• pallet management; and
• site safety and compliance management.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will:

• have strong organisational and communication skills;
• be comfortable working with common software programs;
• be able to demonstrate a hands on collaborative approach and be calm under pressure;
• be self motivated with high standards of performance and energy;
• have a HC licence (or an HR licence with the desire to upgrade) and a forklift licence with substantial yard experience.

Operational experience in the transport and logistics industry particularly in supervisory or team leader role is highly advantageous.
