ABOUT THE ROLE:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Supervisor to run our PM shift, in our Smithfield operation. This is a critical role in our business to run Stillus Logistics network . Ensuring staff, dedicated and ad-hoc providers operate safely, efficiently in accordance with legislative, company and customer requirements.
The role requires a high level of partnership and support to our Depot Manager. Leadership and support to our staff and contractors. This role will encompass many aspects of our business, included but not limited to -
- Understanding our business goals
- Understanding our staff and processes
- Understanding of NHVR legislation
- Understanding of loading linehaul units
- Maintaining existing business relationships (contractors and staff)
- Reporting results on a daily/weekly basis
Stillus Logisitics are seeking a long term employee for this role.
Progression within our business is one of our key drivers. With appropriate training for the right candidate, this role has the capacity to incorporate 2IC status to our NSW Depot Manager.

The below experience is a must for this role -
- Understanding of linehaul loading processes
- Allocating freight to linehaul vehicles
- Understanding of weight distribution and load restraint
- Experience in an allocating capacity
- Experience leading staff/shifts
- Experience leading contractors
- Experience running toolboxes and teams meetings (online and in person)
- Understanding of NHVR legislation
- Understanding of SWP, WP and SOP
- Experienced with Microsoft Office
