Your new company
The client is a public sector authority based in Toowoomba. As a result of a peak in the workload, they are looking to engage the services of a Graduate Project Engineer or Junior Project Engineer to assist their team working on road construction and maintenance projects.
Your new role
In your new role you will be working on a range of construction projects, mainly including toad construction, pavement refurbishment and culvert installations. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Review Drawings, Specifications, Schedules and other Technical Information
- Engage in Construction resource procurement
- Project scheduling
- Capture and process Project Quality data
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally have the following:
- Knowledge of or the ability to gain knowledge of TMR specifications
- Road Construction experience with good understanding of quality assurance and ability to handle relevant software
- Qualifications in engineering or construction
- Previous experience in the Construction Industry is desirable
- Have knowledge or be able to gain knowledge of CivilPro Quality software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Current driver's licence
