The Opportunity
As a Portfolio Manager in the Office team at Dexus you will be responsible driving performance of assets and required to develop property investment strategies to meet the Funds Objectives. This role will also have a strong focus on leadership with two direct reports.
You will make an impact by:
Contribute to development of portfolio construction and property investment strategies to maximise the assets return.
Set strong strategic objectives for each asset within the portfolio along with preparation and implementation of annual Asset Management business plans.
Partner and consult with co-owners on development of property investment strategies.
Focus on leasing strategies and working closely with internal leasing team and external agencies to ensure vacancies are low.
Partner closely with Capital Transactions team on acquisitions and divestments within respective funds.
Review portfolio and financial reporting for each assets.
Lead a team of Property Managers.
About You
Tertiary qualification in either a property, land economics, finance commerce or account discipline.
Experience working as Portfolio Manager/ General Manager within Commercial Real Estate.
Exposure and understanding of the Real Estate Valuations process.
Strong leadership skills with ability to develop high function team.
Comprehensive negotiation, mediation, conflict management and customer retention skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Excellent attention to detail with thorough understanding of Commercial Real-estate management.
