At Burleigh Ortho Centre we understand the important contribution teeth make to a beautiful smile, both aesthetically and functionally. Our orthodontists are experts in creating natural looking smiles and pride themselves on using the latest orthodontic technology.
We are seeking a Practice Coordinator Part Time to assist in the day-to-day running of our outstanding practice. We have flexibility on hours but looking for the right candidate to work Monday to Wednesday on a great hourly rate!
A snapshot of the role
- Providing exceptional patient care, greeting patients and escorting them from patient lounge to clinic;
- Chair side assistance supporting our orthodontists;
- Preparation of facilities for each patient;
- Reception duties as required;
- Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards;
- Recording treatment information using our software;
- Maintaining all equipment and helping the team with stock control;
- Undertake practice administration activities ensuring a high standard of delivery
- Undertake start/end of day procedures and morning huddle
- Assist where required in preparation of rosters and submitting fortnightly timesheets to payroll

- Prior experience in a Dental Assisting role desirable but not essential;
- An outstanding work ethic;
- A high level of punctuality and presentation;
- Commendable people skills;
- High level patient/customer service;
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills;
- Professional oral and written communication;
- Superior attention to detail; and
- A team player mentality
