Kids at Home is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Day Care Coordinator (Educational Practice Mentor) to join our dynamic team in a full-time position.
Kids at Home is a well established Family Day Care Service based in Murarrie, in addition to our multiple awards we have twice been rated as Exceeding NQS. We collaborate with Educators who create environments that nurture children and inspire them.
Our team is committed to supporting Educators and ensuring the smooth administrative operation of the Service, mentoring our Educators and most importantly providing quality home based education and care.

Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA
- Current First Aid (HLTAI012) and CPR (HLTAID004) (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) Restricted persons need not apply
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid Drivers License and Reliable Car
- Managing administrative tasks, working with Microsoft Office, data entry, and writing concise compliance visit reports.
- Confidence in the ability to support and guide educators in their professional development and provide valuable insights to enhance the quality of care and education provided to children.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework. A high level of knowledge in the area of ways and ideas of programming and documentation of children's learning.
- While experience as a Family Day Care Coordinator is a plus, it's not essential - we welcome fresh talent.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Support visits to supervise and mentor our incredible Family Day Care Educators across SE QLD as they deliver educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework.
- Ensuring strict adherence to the National Quality Framework: Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Law, National Quality Standards and Services Policies and Procedures.
- Administrative Skills: Understand the importance of efficient administrative processes and are adept at managing the necessary paperwork, documentation, and regulatory compliance that ensures Kids at Home operates seamlessly.
- Understanding of Risk Assessments and how they relate to working in an Education and Care Service
- Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written skills
