The Speech Express is one of the very first paediatric speech pathology private practices in Victoria, offering Speech Pathology services integrated with animal assisted interventions.
We are a team of speech pathologists and therapy assistants who all share one thing in common-our love and passion for therapy animals and delivering speech pathology services to our paediatric clients.
Our beautiful clinic is located in Chirnside Park and we pride ourselves on being different to many other traditional private practices.
🌟 Our Practice Manager Role: Lead the Way in Clinic Management 🌟 Are you a seasoned healthcare administrator with a knack for organization and a love for furry companions? As our Practice Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, including overseeing clinic operations, managing administrative tasks, developing and implementing procedures and policies, fostering a supportive environment, overseeing practitioner relations and more.
This is a casual position (3-4 days) that has the opportunity to become a permanent part time role should the successful candidate prefer. Flexibility to cover additional days if other team members are unwell, or on leave, will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be available to commence as soon as possible. The following skills would be highly regarded:
- experience in Medical/Allied health practice management (preferred Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Psychology);
- experience in navigating allied health practice management software systems or similar (we use Cliniko and Xero);
- cash-handling, EFTPOS and HICAPS machine experience including knowledge of NDIS and Medicare;
- proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel in particular, PowerPoint and Publisher);
- experience in other workplace efficiency programs e.g. Mail Chimp, Sharepoint, Canva;
- Ability to develop handbooks, procedures and polices including ones relating to OHS and Workplace Safety;
- keen interest in digital marketing/networking via social media, website, knowledge of Google Ads, SEO etc;
- exemplary written communication skills in the areas of spelling, punctuation and grammar;
- leader ship skills, multi-tasking and attention to detail are all important to the role.
