In this newly created role as Practice Manager, you will oversee the administrative function of the company’s virtual clinical practice to ensure efficient, effective and optimal operations.

What you’ll do

On a day to day basis you will:

• Streamline and optimise operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Implement and monitor systems for scheduling, billing, and patient records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and other relevant standards (as applicable)
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of patient care
• Implement and oversee the use of technology systems, such as electronic health records and practice management software
• Contribute to the execution of strategic plans for the clinical practice
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with Clinical Relationship Managers and customer-facing team members to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
• Coordinate healthcare provider schedules and support their needs in collaboration with Clinical Relationship Managers
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of clinical staff, and provide constructive feedback to improve operational efficiency
• Perform Medicare billing for the business, including processing claims and following up with patients and practitioners as required
• Support the broader medical operations team with ad hoc admin tasks as required
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain patients
   

Experience you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and tech savvy with systems and digital tools. You will be highly organised and effective with time management, can adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; and have a knack for problem solving with bias for proactive action.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field
• Proven experience in healthcare management or medical practice administration
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Operational efficiency and process improvement experience
• Financial management and budgeting acumen
• A track record for being results-driven and achieving targets
