About the role:
The Practice Manager is an integral part of our clients success. Reporting into the General Manager, you will have ownership of:
- The day-to-day leadership and operations of the back-office team
- Delivery and development of efficient processes and procedures to support the provision of compliant holistic advice services for both prospective and ongoing clients
- Setting the standard for client service and client engagement
- Ensuring all service obligations are met
- Reporting to the GM and the Board on the delivery of services, capacity and operational effectiveness
- Financial accountability to operational expenditure
You above all will be someone who just loves to get stuff done! You love getting involved and when you see something that needs doing, you get on with doing it! You get your biggest kicks out of coaching a team and seeing them grow and be successful. Their success is your success.
The successful person must have:
- 5+ years experience in the financial advice industry
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Proficiency in Xplan
- A Bachelors degree in business, commerce, finance or similar
- Ideally a qualification in financial advice (such as a Diploma of Financial Service, Financial Planning)
- Clear understanding of the advice industry history and the upcoming legislative environment
- A history of communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders
