We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join our General practice clinic in Bracken Ridge. We are looking for a person who can demonstrate leadership and professionalism and foster our caring practice culture.
The position is part-time 3 days per week (20 to 24 hours per week)
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Producing rosters, managing doctors’ schedules and supporting payroll processes
- Taking the lead in quality improvement and accreditation activities to maintain practice accreditation.
• Monitoring compliance to ensure receipt of PIP/WIP payments.
• Provision of HR support, including performance management and staff training.
• Management of online claiming processes, including exceptions and finalising held accounts.
• Supporting billing compliance and monitoring of Medicare payments.
- Processing of any non-Medicare payments
- Over-sight of practice purchasing.
• Monitoring patient recalls & reminders systems to ensure timely action of these tasks.
• Complaints management.
About You:
• You have at least one to two years of prior experience as a Practice Manager.
• You are proficient with Best Practice Software and have sound computer skills.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication to work with a range of stakeholders professionally.
• You have a demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision .
• You are always well-presented, friendly and courteous.

- You have a vigilant attitude to accuracy.
• You can work cooperatively and independently.
• You have a solid ability to prioritise and organise with attention to detail.
