Active Physio Health are a team of dedicated allied health professionals focusing on physiotherapy, headache therapy, massage, dry needling, shockwave therapy, corporate health, hydrotherapy and spinal decompression. We are a registered NDIS provider and have a multidisciplinary approach, working with all modalities.
We also specialise in occupational rehabilitation including workplace assessments, suitable duties programs, return to work plans, and pre-employment assessments. We have three locations in the Gladstone region based in Gladstone, Calliope and Biloela.
Our Opportunity
Active Physio Health now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team based in our Gladstone practice location.
Working closely with our Active team and broader InterHealthcare business, this full time Practice Manager position will oversee business performance for our practice locations and play a crucial role in leading and developing our team. There is some flexibility with start and finish times as well as a regular work from home day. Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify opportunities for business growth and development and alongside business leaders, accountable for business performance
- Lead, coach and motivate team to reach practice goals
- Implement policies and procedures and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor and analyse KPI’s and practice performance
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including practice principles, support office, employees and external services
- Collaborate with support office – align business with InterHealthcare strategic goals - lead implementation of the operation plan
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multi-site allied health practice, travel to our sites as required
- Oversee patient billing, invoicing and appointment booking and daily finance processes, AR and debt collection
- Workforce rostering and management (HumanForce)
- Maintain WHS compliance
- Leadership of our administration team
- Administration coverage if required
About you
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager looking to take the next step in leading a multi-site business as part of a national health provider. Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager
- Strong business/commercial acumen
- Extensive experience in the healthcare industry
- Sound understanding of Australia healthcare system and funding bodies (Private health, Medicare, DVA, NDIS)
- Sound understanding of business metrics, P&L management and reporting mechanisms
- Experience implementing operational plans
- Project and change management skills
- Stakeholder engagement
- Microsoft Office Suite, healthcare industry software and systems
- Comfortable travelling to our sites on a regular basis to work with our team
- Leadership experience
