Working with a high performing team

We are excited to be seeking a Part Time Practice Manager to lead our General Practice at Rosny Doctors. The Practice Manager is the first point of contact for all clinical and non-clinical staff, and is responsible for the daily operations of the clinic which include;

• management of reception staff;
• support for Doctors, including Doctor pay invoicing;
• rostering through our Payroll platform;
• refining policies and procedures;
• practice accreditation;
• liaison with community and external parties;
• business development, and;
• general administration including reception.

We envisage that the role will require a 0.5 – 0.6 FTE and we are open to discuss the spread of hours for the right candidate. A flexible span of hours may be appealing to someone with specific requirements.

What you will bring

The Practice Manager is expected to engage with the wider Better Medical group network of practices by attending key meetings, sharing knowledge, and implementing business objectives as directed. The Practice Manager will make key decisions to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources, supported by and reporting to the Operations Manager.

The Practice Manager will strive to empower staff through a culture of education and support the group philosophies of teamwork, trust, unity, and respect. You may have held a similar role but now seeking to reduce your working hours. 

You may be seeking a Practice Manager role; you may not know everything about general practice but your previous experience in a medical reception role will provide you a solid foundation and enable you to perform all aspects of the Practice Manager position. Exposure to Best Practice software will be highly regarded.
