Practice Manager - Full Time/Part time Flexi role
An exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Practice Manager to join our Hospital on a full-time or permanent part-time basis.

Our Russell Lea Hospital, 15 minutes from the CBD has 4 consulting suites, a separate surgery, a treatment room and patient ward.
Russell Lea is located a 2 minute walk from the famous Bay Run, and 5 minutes from the M4/Westconnex. The hospital has an experienced team and is a well-established customer base.
We are looking for a Practice Manager who has previous experience leading a team along with exceptional communication skills who is ready to drive our business forward using well-developed business, customer service, human resource and operational skills.
About Your New Role
- Managing the day to day operations of our hospital including stock management, equipment maintenance, people management and rostering, and maintaining insurances.
- Maintain our positive team culture and over-see mental wellbeing initiatives
- Banking, and book-keeping (this could potentially be outsourced)
- Developing our team’s skills, manage performance reviews
- Managing online sales, building this aspect of the business
- Managing and conducting basic development for a website, particularly on platforms like Squarespace, involves a blend of technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Updating website content, troubleshooting issues reported by users, and making minor design modifications to improve the user experience
- Create a marketing strategy that includes Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) campaigns and social media outreach on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Driving our business forward through streamlining efficiencies and marketing initiatives
- Ensuring that monthly targets are met
- Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and pet guardians.
- Oversee property maintenance and leases
- Coordinate meetings with team and Directors
- Coordinate visiting specialists
- Experience in managing bookkeeping tasks with Xero, covering responsibilities like handling accounts payable and receivable, along with managing payroll processes. (Potentially can be outsourced).
About You
- 2+ years of experience working as a Vet Practice/Office Manager.
- You may or may not be a Veterinarian or Veterinary Nurse
- Experience in team management, with strong leadership and team building skills
- An interest in streamlining processes and user experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong business acumen
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Experience with Bookkeeping tasks with Xero (preferred but not a must)

- Permanent full-time or part-time role, 1-2 days per week may be possible to be performed remotely. We offer flexibility to suit you and the business.
