Practice Manager
- Lead one of South Australia's largest independent Family Practice's
- Based in the Adelaide Hills
- Reporting to Practice Partners
- Full Time or Part Time (4 Days) Considered
Providing leadership to the Directors and staff including business planning for development of the Practice this role will have responsibility for the implementation of and oversight of staff management systems and processes; and ensuring that the business Practices are efficient and progressive.
Tasked with the responsibility to plan, implement and evaluate strategies that are aimed at achieving key performance targets reflecting the vision and goals of the Business and its Directors, this role will have the challenge of balancing both the operational and strategic needs of the business.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Business Planning and Development
- In consultation with the Directors, ensure that strategic and business planning is effectively undertaken, implemented, monitored and reviewed
- Provide progressive supportive leadership to our large team in adherence with our centre's value statement
- Development and maintenance of contemporary human resources systems to promote the development of staff and ensure that relevant legislative requirements regarding employment are met
- Lead Doctor recruitment efforts and ongoing introduction, management and support of Registrars to the practice
- Ensure that the Practice maintains a robust QI system and complies with the RACGP Standards for General Practice with the continued development of processes and procedures
- Comply with RACGP Standards for General Practice, and that processes and systems are continually developed
- Evaluate and make recommendations to Directors re hardware, software and system requirements with the aim of utilizing technology to assist in delivering patients the best possible patient experience
- Preparation of annual budgets and monitoring of the Practice's performance against the budget
- Providing regular reports and analysis of the business and financial performance to the Directors
