We are looking for a full-time/part-time Practice Manager to join our team. To be considered for this position you will have 5+ years' experience as a Practice Manager in a public accounting firm and will have had exposure to broad based experience in practice administration, business & financial aspects. Strong experience with Access Handisoft Accounting is desirable as well as first-rate written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum HSC or tertiary qualification;
- 5+ years’ Practice Manager experience in a small to medium firm;
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
Responsible for:
- Oversee and manage practice operations and workflow.
- Managing and overseeing the tasks of the administrative team.
- High level of support to the director & manager.
- First point of contact for customers & clients and ensuring that professional relationship is maintained at all times.
- Liaising with the accountants to prepare budgets and job forecasts.
- Familiar with and responsible for job manager functionality in practice management software.
- Preparation of accurate and timely productivity and budget reports.
- Maintaining the Quality Assurance compliance requirements with CPA Australia.
- Keep abreast of internal administrative policies, practices, and guidelines.
- Administer the monthly management of the WIP/debtors report review and clean up.
- Processing invoices and managing debtors.
- Screen and attend to telephone calls and emails, managing client and administrative matters as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Manage Corporate Compliance requirements for all clients.
- Administer the creation of new entities and changes to entities, including registrations,
- Preparation of client engagements.
- Administer client ATO payment arrangements and remission of penalties and interest.
- Know how to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
Technical abilities:
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Experience using the practice management software e.g. (MYOB AE/Access Handisoft etc)
- Experience with document Management, Nowinfinity, etc is desirable
