Practice Nurse

This is General Practice is a private Practice located in Kambah, with a team of experienced specialist general practitioners who thrive on providing holistic and comprehensive care. We pride ourselves on offering ‘slow-paced’ medicine that offers patient-centered care, no matter how complex. 

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse (RN) to join our friendly, dynamic, warm, and hardworking team. All applicants must have unconditional registration with AHPRA.

This is a casual position, 2 days a week on Thursdays and Fridays, with some flexibility required to cover staff absences as needed. 

TIGP Daily Duties: 

Our daily duties include, but are certainly not limited to: 

• Working collaboratively with our friendly Reception team to triage patients, ensuring TIGP delivers time-appropriate responses to medical issues. 
• Administering wound care - dressing changes, stitch removals, and information to patients on how to care for their ongoing wounds. 
• Conducting INRs, spirometry tests, ECGs, and ear syringing. 
• Assisting our Doctors with minor procedures (biopsies, hormonal contraceptive implants, and more). 
• Building relationships with our wonderful and diverse patient-group and assisting in the management of Health Assessments, CDM Plans, and other clinical reports. 
• Administering immunisations.

The successful applicant will be able to work both autonomously, and as a part of our team.
