General Practice located in Western Melbourne is looking for a friendly and experienced Practice Nurse that MUST be available to work a rotating roster for Morning, Afternoon/Evening and Weekend shifts.
You will be required to work 2-3 days per week (minimum) with the availability to increase hours as needed and cover annual leave and sick leave at short notice.
The Required Shifts to work are:
Monday through to Friday: 8am -4pm or 9am -5pm and 1pm -9pm
Saturday: 9am - 2pm
In this position you will report directly to your Practice Manager.
This is a challenging role which involves working in a fast-paced environment with a very busy (fully equipped) Treatment Room, from dealing with patients, continuous high volume of phone calls, liaising with Doctors and handling any constraints that may occur.

Key Selection Criteria- Previous experience in General Practice Nursing
- Experience in PracSoft and Medical Director is desirable but not a requirement.

- Wound management
- Iron Infusions
- Venepuncture
- Immunisations
- Treatment Room Assisting (Dressings, minor procedures)
- Maintaining recall and reminder system
- Cold chain management
- Liaising with hospitals
- AIR Updates
- Chronic Disease management (TCA, GPMP and Health Assessments)
