General Practice located Werribee, is looking for a friendly and experienced Practice Nurse (RN) on a Permanent Part Time basis that is available to work a rotating roster for Morning, Afternoon/Evening and Weekend shifts.
You will be required to work 2-4 days per week (minimum) with an availability to increase hours as needed to cover annual leave and sick leave.
In this position you will report directly to your Practice Manager.
This role involves working in a friendly environment with a fully equipped Treatment Room.
Experience in Medical Director, Prac-Soft, Care Plans and Health Assessments is ideal.
A high attention to detail is a must and full training will be provided.
This is the perfect opportunity for applicants who are able to manage multiple tasks with confidence, ease and accuracy.
You must also be able to provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination status and other Vaccination Status required in a Healthcare role.

Key Selection Criteria- Experience in General Practice Nursing
- Experience in Prac-Soft and Medical Director is ideal
- Knowledge in Medicare and Item Numbers
- Knowledge and experience in Immunisations (e.g. Childhood)

- Venipuncture

- Treatment Room Assisting (Dressings, minor procedures)
- Maintaining recall and reminder system
- Cold chain management
- Liaising with hospitals
- Recalls and Reminders
- Stock ordering
- AIR Updates
- Chronic Disease management (TCA, GPMP and Health Assessments)
