- Provide pricing recommendation and insights to internal stakeholders, reflecting competitive and commercial considerations to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement best practice pricing models including claims quote conversions, customer retention and pricing scenarios.
- Contribute to the development of product strategy and support its implementation.
- Identify opportunities to drive innovation and make improvements in processes, products and services.
- Implement the pricing governance framework by performing and continually improving controls and governance around pricing processes.
- Experience in the pricing/actuarial management rules, acquired in the financial services (preferably general insurance) and/or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software databases, reporting and communication tools (Willis Towers Watson pricing software (Emblem, Radar) and SAS, R or Python
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize task and manage competing resources and demands.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgment and solutions and report accordingly.
- Ability to manage internal client expectations to ensure matters are appropriately triggered and dealt with in accordance with an agreed timeline and scope.
