Headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) is one of the world's most innovative and comprehensive youth early psychosis programs being delivered through one program in each Australian state. Through this initiative, young people and their families have timely access to comprehensive evidence-based early psychosis services. This program aims to intervene early with young people who have unusual sensory experiences and/or beliefs and their families and supporters. The service builds on strengths and resilience, uses the wisdom of lived experience and fosters hope, potential, and recovery.
What you'll be doing
This position encompasses leadership, administration, teaching & clinical roles.
In this role, you will:
- be responsible for the co-ordination of psychology services within headspace;
- work with the headspace Executive & the Manager of Psychology to be responsible for the strategic direction of psychology within the child and youth mental health programs;
- provide Clinical Leadership to the Psychologists and other staff working within headspace; and
- maintain a clinical case load within area of responsibility
- Registration under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005.
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Eligible for membership of the APS and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
- Australian working rights, and full Covid-19 vaccination
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
