Darling Downs South West region is seeking for a Principal for Semester 2 2024 (8 July 2024 to 13 December 2024, unless otherwise determined) to lead a small regional team in focussed support of students and schools around Multi Tiered Systems of Support.

About the Role
With a focus on Maximising Learning Days, the role will work in partnership with school and regional leaders, and lead a small team, to support:
- schools to embed strategies, processes and relevant supports focussing on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support; and
- individual students through development of necessary Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, where they are not able to maximise learning days.
Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful applicant will:
- Lead a small multi-disciplinary team to work with identified schools and students to embed relevant supports to maximise learning days
- Engage with school leaders, parents and where relevant the wider school community, to identify needs, and supports to enhance learning days for student/s.
- Work in collaboration with the regional leadership team to identify and broker supports at a regional and system level.
- Draw upon their own leadership experiences working with staff, community, families and individual students to leverage the right supports through a Multi-Tiered Systems approach.
The position will be based in one of the regions four office locations - Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Roma or Warwick - as negotiated with the successful applicant. No relocation costs will be paid.
