An opportunity to come onboard in a new Principal Program Manager role that will provide high level advice on monitoring project and program performance of capital works in terms of time and cost, lead design and implementation of business processes for project and program management and coordinate project reviews.
This role is a temporary full-time opportunity until 30 June 2025. We offer a hybrid working model, with a tailored flexible work arrangement. The location of the role is also flexible by negotiation.

In the role of Principal Program Advisor some of your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and ensure financial and physical progress of project and program delivery against established performance indicators, including reporting savings, and recommend corrective actions at the state level.
- Lead program and project management business systems, and the design and implementation of business processes for program and project management methodologies.
- Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt common methodologies and standards for program and project health reporting, including the analysis to improve program and project governance, knowledge sharing and the reuse of information.
- Undertake project reviews to audit compliance and statewide consistency with the established project and program management processes and systems.
- Provide specialist advice to ensure the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) development and management aligns with government priorities and the outcomes sought by the department.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in program and project management, including data analysis and reporting through various systems.
- Demonstrates accountability for the execution and quality of results through professionalism, persistence and transparency.
- Thinks critically and acts on the broader purpose of the system.
- Builds and sustains relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customerfocused outcomes.
- Maintains a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.
- Intra-state travel may be required for this role.
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
